Olympic Torch & Coca Cola

WOW!

What an honour it was to be a part of this event. Coca Cola put on a breakfast event at Parliament hill for the MP's and we were the photographers for the event.

Being a huge sports fan it was an honour and privilege to be able to hold the Olympic Torch.

A shoot I soon won't forget!

Here are a few shots from the event.

Erin

To my loyal blog followers sorry it's been a few weeks since my last post, it's been a crazy last few weeks both personally and professionally.

Erin is the latest addition to my project, and what a wonderful addition she is. Her very fit/lean body along with her determination, made some great images for the poses that required strength.

Here are a few shots from the shoot.

Enjoy!

Ellen

Ellen was my latest model for my project, which is really starting to take shape with some fresh new ideas. I think that this is going to be a great project and I can't wait to share more details with you all. In the mean time, enjoy a few samples from my session with Ellen (one of a few in the last few days).

Cheers!

Great Week!

Hey blog followers!

First off, I would like to apologize to all the people that I directed to Vincent Laforet's website this week to see a great video showing off the Canon 1D Mark IV. Canon once again made Vincent take down his video (like last years video 'Reverie'), because in my honest opinion, for no other reason than they don't know what they are doing. Seems Canon is their own biggest problem and can't get out of their own way to showcase a great product. Canon's PR/CS in the past few years has been tanking and continues!

There, my rant is done!

This week has been great so far, 3 shoots in 2 days, plus another 2 shoots in the next day and a half. Several of these are for my on going project, and once I get a free moment and have finished editing, you'll see a bunch more photos posted on the blog.

Thanks to all the models that have posed in the last few days (and coming day and a half) and I apologize for the delay in getting your images up.

Check back soon for a sample from the shoots!

Wow - Canon 1D Mark IV

This morning I woke extra early to get started on a pile of work, as last week was a busy week and this week will be much of the same, with 3 booked shoots already (with a possibility of another one) for my project, plus client orders to print and 2 classes to teach.

However, with my busy schedule I still find time to check out my favorite photographers' blogs for inspiration. The one that caught my eye this morning that I thought I would share with you is the latest post by Vincent Laforet. Vincent, you might remember as the photographer that created 'Reverie' with the pre-production Canon 5D Mark II. He has now put together another video, this time with the newest camera to Canon's DSLR line-up, 1D Mark IV.

So, before I ramble on to much, check out his blog and newest movie. http://blog.vincentlaforet.com

Note: go soon, the last video that Vincent posted, crashed a few of the hosting sites because of the traffic levels.

Enjoy!

Megan

This past week has been busy with the start of another school year teaching at Algonquin, teaching special interest classes with the city of Ottawa, and having several shoots for my project. The other day I had the pleasure of shooting Megan who was a great model, perfecting some poses that I've been want to try for a while now.

Alana

Last week I worked with Alana on my on going project. Alana has been practicing yoga for sometime now, and it definitely showed with her flexibility and ability to pull off some difficult poses.

Here are a few of the amazing images from the shoot. There will be more posted later this week.

Maternity Shoot with Sarah

The other day I had the pleasure of shooting Sarah. Sarah is Sam's Sister (Sam has made an appearance on the blog before for my project I'm working on). Sam is in one of the shots with Sarah. You'll see more of Sam in a few months, as we have been working on special maternity shots. Sarah had lots of wonderful ideas for photos and they all turned out great. I wish we had more time for this shoot as every pose was beautiful!

Check back in a few weeks for the newborn photos.

Here are a few images from the great shoot.
